✦ Night Queen Origami — a Nathalie Chou Lab experiment

Privacy — your camera stays yours

The Camera

Night Queen Origami asks for camera access so you can control the piece with hand gestures. Your camera feed is processed entirely inside your browser, on your device, by a hand-tracking model that ships with the page itself. Camera images are never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted to any server — closing the tab ends everything.

No Third-Party Requests

The page is fully self-contained: the hand-tracking model, the video, and all code are served from the same place as the page. No analytics, no cookies, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and no requests to third-party services.

Hosting

Like every website, the hosting infrastructure that delivers the page (Vercel / GitHub Pages) processes standard connection data — IP address and browser type — in its server logs to serve the page and prevent abuse. That is the only data that exists.
